A cycle of 4 experiential seminars had the chance to participate, members of Halkidiki Chamber under the general title “I am an ambassador of my region”, organized as part of the program Taste Halkidiki. Although the participation was not as expected the first day, a lot of the Chamber members from different professions, such as Ho.Re.Ca., Accommodation, Production and Services, from all over Halkidiki took part.
The seminars were:
– I am an Ambassador of my Region
– Gastronomy in tourism
– Visiting Production Units
– Communication & Promotion
In a unique experience the participants had the chance apart from the educational part, to get to know each other, network, “create”, “play” but also discuss subjects referring to their business needs.
They also had the chance to participate in 2 masterclasses, that were organized as part of the seminars and of the education with characteristic products of Halkidiki, which included a tailor-made sweet “alafrada”, which resulted during the creative games of the participants. The attendants were thrilled for their participation but also for the high level of the seminars. The President Yannis Koufidis stated that Halkidiki Chamber will continue to invest in its members education and training, even if only a few respond. He also said that Halkidiki Chamber as a body, whose objective is the development of the local economy will continue to support openness and the development of entrepreneurial activity, which it anyhow does. He stressed that Halkidiki Chamber is open for all its members without constraints or discrimination.
The seminars were organized by the Educational Organization “Pythagoras” in co-operation with Chef Stories. Lecturer for the seminars was Nana Zygoura, Educator and Business Development & Marketing Consultant.
